Since we are a non-profit organization, we do not make a profit from selling you uniforms or belts. You may purchase a karate uniform after you have practiced for 2 months or so from any retailer as long as it is a plain, white, karate uniform.
Since newcomers are unaware of where to find retailers, here are some local businesses we know:
Suggestions
- Consider thrift stores for children’s uniforms
- 100% cotton is more expensive but more comfortable and much cooler than blended fabrics

On-line Retailers
You can purchase a karate uniform from various online retailers. If you use Amazon, SKA earns from qualifying purchases as an Amazon associate. Therefore, click through this link to provide SKA credit for your purchase:
The button has special link codes which Amazon will recognize and remember when you click through.
SKA’s Online Store
Recently, SKA has started to sell some affordable uniforms with the SKA logo embroidered. Once you become an SKA member you can visit the members section of http://ska.org to compare prices and options. As advertised on the dues page, you are not required to buy an official SKA uniform. Feel free to buy a plain white karate gi from another retailer.
Tiger Patch
SKA members are encouraged to sew tiger patches to uniforms. These may be purchased from ska.org’s on-line e-store, but to avoid shipping costs, check with a senior who may have extra tiger patches to sell you.
